    Even though some of the recipes are not to my taste, everything I've ever made from this book has been good and most of them have been outstanding. The first couple chapters offer good, solid advice on ingredients, mixing, storing, etc, in case you're new to baking. Following that are clear instructions for making a nice assortment of cakes, cookies, pies & puddings.
