    A good basic recipe. I think it's best with chopped walnuts, and I always cook it a little longer than they suggest. I've made the mistake not to a few times, and the fudge comes out a little softer than desired. If this is the case, just keep it refrigerated and your guests will never know!

    OK, I can see the appeal of easy-to-make fudge, but in my opinion, putting in a little work for a superior product is worthwhile. (Not that this stops me from using Fluff in my Remarkable Fudge, of course.) The trick to keeping it from going soft is to make sure it gets hot enough when it's in the sugar-milk-butter stage.
